On the one hand, it sounds like we've played well. On the other hand, I've only heard Charlie's name mentioned about twice.
Dreadful defending on both goals, Yoshie and Hoedt forgetting to mark the single attacker for their first and our two full backs just being awful What is the point of Austin?
1st goal was good attacking play rather than bad defending. Mitrovic didn't just stand still - he made a run. Unless you guess where he's going to go he's always going to make space for himself.
Still some positives though, some good football and a goal from open play, Armstrong should be a regular starter now.
We do look much better today, but we are playing with 10 men with Austin, he doesn’t even challenge for the ball when it’s near him. I can’t really see us getting back into this to be honest, prove me wrong please
I am not seeing this we've played well nonsense. They basically play quick counter football and play it well. We basically pllay slow possession football and do it badly. Of course have the ball - that is THEIR gameplan... and I can't imagine a more toothless side than us to utilise it against.
I don't have the feeling that we won't come back like I have had in other matches, we are still well in the game.
We've been far from toothless. It's been good one touch football. Armstrong has found some really good positions and has looked a real threat. Redmond looks dangerous.
We’re playing quickly getting into the final 3rd, then for some reason slow up and don’t take advantage of the acres of space Fulham are leaving. For me, still so much needless turnover of possession and players who are robbing the club blind; Cedric, Hoedt
If this was a Newcastle or a Brighton, they'd shut up shop here, and we wouldn't have the quality to break them down and get something. But it's Fulham. The issue is more than we need to get a second before they get a third.
