Saw it Yorkie. Thanks. And onwards and upwards. Are you back home by the way? Althugh I get a bit confused where your home might be with all you wanderings An aside. England enjoying their cricket in Sri Lanka. Over 200 for 3. They'll be able to declare before the days out
I finally have an appointment at Southmead Hospital to see if I am suitable for this treatment. Tuesday 4th December at 1500 and I spoke to a lovely lady at NHS Transport, apparently as a cancer sufferer I am entitled to free transport to and from the hospital. Just as well really as the taxi fare is around £45 each way
Cheers...... no am in Yorkieland at the mo.... swimming in grand-kids...... off to the game tomorrow....
Morning all. Rather cloudy I think, but difficult to tell as it is still pretty dark outside. The charity season has started and I will be out most of the day doing my bit to raise some money. The first of the calendar sellers knocked on the door yesterday afternoon, this time for the blood donors association. Every year we finish up with loads of calendars, after all the local groups raise funds for the coming year. Another way that people such as the schools raise money is by putting a table up in the supermarkets to wrap goods that people are giving as presents. Probably going to miss the game, but it is all in a good cause. Just sometimes you wish that you had a Sunday game.
Good Morning All. Match day! Task du matin is to procure a seat for the West Ham game. Seems the club like to hide when they're putting the fix on sale and I've not seen an email from the club either. Probably due to the new GDPO that I've largely ignored addressing personally, though obviously adhering to it professionally.... just common sense for the most part, but constantly being reminded of cookies this and cookies that is a bit of a bind - I've told you once, now stop asking!!! Anyway, getting away from it all for a couple of days post match, culminating in the Ennio Morricone concert at the O2 on Monday. We're big fans, Mrs H-F and I as we had a lot of his music played at our wedding. Seen him twice already. Right, best shift myself... just had a cuppa in bed... things to do, people to see, tix to buy, places to go....
HornetFez slow down. You're making me dizzy. Yes the cookie pop-ups are a pain. But I always worry that we don't read them and just click - and then some toerag adds extra bits in the small print. Typical chilly autumn day down here with a touch of dampness in the air. But despite a snuffle I must go get my last few ingredients for the Xmas puds. The fruit has already been steeped in Pedro Ximenez for 48 hours. Rich aniseedy, sherry smell every time I take the lid off. I think the wife thinks it odd that my laptop has a photo of busty Nigella on the screen but honest it is the best recipe Enjoy OFH. As you say a good cause and usually fun if you have some jolly colleagues. Here we only get 7th day bible pushers at the door. Enjoy C'mon you Canaries (Although Dave I noticed the tractor boys didn't do us any favours last night! Service as normal I guess ).
It's written in the stars. Actually with good flights to Stanstead from here make that the game in Norwich as well
