He was good and got better with age imo. Not the best but had some excellent attributes. Always put a big shift in for England so he gets my respect.
I totally agree mate, Philip Green should have his fat face stuck on a BBQ, the Tory front bench are like the lady leading them, devious, deceiving liars that have **** all in common with the reality of life in this Country. Hartlepool Constabulary have 10 coppers working at any one time for a population 90,000+, the locals solve their own crimes.. As for the Beckham's, everything that is wrong in this Country, people are using food banks, good people that have fallen on hard times, workers, proper grafters and yet you have a skinny piece of talentless **** representing what this Country is about and an ex-footballer who was good in his day being presented like some iconic sportsman. The media cause a lot of division in the UK, it's a sore subject with me for reasons.
I take your point about injustice; honest people are getting shafted while the rich roll in clover, all that. And I deplore the crass commercialism that pollutes everything from music to football. We’ve lost our way as a society imo, made money our god, and forgotten what words like community, decency, and integrity mean. I just don’t really think any of it is David Beckham’s fault.
He spawned his kids, their value and realism in life will be zero. I agree though so I will lay off David
