Oh dear. Catastrophe as stick slips on landing. His exuberant jumping has cost him dearly there and he has dropped right through the field. Will he recover sufficiently to get back into contention? Or has he handed the race to attivo
I cannot believe how badly he is performing. Off his current mark he has to be going close at least. He won yesterdays race 12 months ago off a mark 4lbs higher! If you look at his trainers form though it definitely is not pretty reading!
Well it's all happening here at not606 Racing. Following stick's stumble and handing a clear lead to attivo, Fabio almost falls when challenging strongly on the outside, virtually handing the race to attivo. So, as they move into the final furlong, it's attivo maintaining this relentless gallop and seeing off all challenges as he surges 17l clear of Reebs, now in second place, with Circle just edging out Fabio into 4th place and just under a length behind Circle
Hard to tell mate. The yard won the trainer of the year for Epsom last year but this year it has been awful. Most of the horses now look well handicapped but are still not winning. Its a mystery alright!
