Do you know, I have no idea what this reply is saying? I assume it is a dig at Trump????
Is it an impression of the way Trump conducted himself during the campaign? Do you think we don't know what it is about? Is it a Cri de Coeur that we/the media should focus on Ivanka's emails, on Hilary's emails? deep breath suggest irritation - but with whom?
You have many interesting and insightful things to say, just sometimes (to me anyway) you express them enigmatically, as though we have to work to understand them.

Not just him but his zealots, as not only did the Orange Overlord spend the majority of the election campaign responding to any question he couldn't/wouldn't answer (and that was a hell of a lot of them) by bringing up Hillary using her personal email account when she was at the State Department, for example...

...which, as with everything that comes out of his Twitter orifice, ignores all context for shouty shouty soundbite time...

...but even two years after the election his followers are still bringing that one up to try and deflect from the laundry list of valid and deserved criticism aimed at their messiah, with Rush Limbaugh bringing it up during the midterm campaign - which is probably the reason Hillary is deluded/entitled enough to think she can run again in 2020 given the amount of free press Team Trump have given her for the past two years

So bawling "BUT HER EMAILS!!!!!" is essentially the Trumpist version of an r/soccer ****poster bringing up that "Lads, it's Tottenham" quote, so for Ivanka to be guilty of the exact same thing - albeit knowing full well it's illegal, which it wasn't in Hillary's case - a little karmic retribution is in order

    Meanwhile, in doublethink...

...while in sociopath news, of all the decade-old tweets to revive, the main hate preacher of NRA TV decided this one was worth it

  5. Little bit of media manipulation going on it seems. NYT and BBC don’t seem to consider this newsworthy. Wonder why?

Funny how the government seems to be putting a lot more effort in getting Matthew Hedges released from jail in the UAE than they ever did for Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. What is it that makes the Tories believe it is far more important to get a middle class white man released than an Arabic woman?

It's not as simple as that. I used to be very friendly with the British Ambassador in Asmara. She warned me that if I had any children with an Eritrean woman that there was absolutely nothing that the British could do for someone with joint nationallity.
When my daughter wanted to go to Eritrea to visit her grandmother and cousins, I told my wife to get a visa for her in her UK passport but she got her an Eritrean ID instead, i.e. got her joint nationality. I went apesh!t, it came very close to backfiring, we got dragged off one flight and got close to be dragged off another.
Quite frankly, Nazinine ought to have known better than to go to a fekked up country like that. Having said that, the grass always looks greener from the other side and the fekking British make it so difficult to get a visa for relatives to visit here. I had to take the government to court and make their solicitor look like an incompetent twat (not that difficult) to get my mother in law a UK visa. They still havent paid me my costs that the Judge awarded me. Fekwits.

It didn't help that Boris Johnson was so good at being Foreign Secretary that he blurted out that, yes, the reason Nazanin was in Iran was because of what she had been charged with, which isn't exactly helpful to her case.

Yes exactly, with friends like that, who needs enemies?

There is a change.org petition website for Nazanin and you can make a contribution to her cause if you want.

This Brexit seams fair I dont think. We cant cherry pick between free market, freedom of movement and customs union but the French and Spannish want to cherry pick re fishing rights, the Spannish want to cherry pick on how we deal with Gibralta and all of them want to cherry pick on how we deal with the Irish border.

Clearly they want us to pick their cherries for them, spoon feed them to them and pay them for the privilege. As I've often said, any deal is a bad deal.

  15. UK wants out...... its their cherry bowl and their cherries I’m afraid. This was all so feckin’ obvious on 23rd June 2016, but apparently 51.8% of the population still voted to leave......

    But in the meantime..... <laugh>
