Theresa May has visited Goodison Park this afternoon to seek expert advice on how to handle empty cabinets & how to make quick exits out of Europe..

I think it really depends on the individual. I managed to persuade my GP to prescribe me with Diclofenac for my knees, before the replacements after my Cheese supply ran out. He put me on naproxen first as it's supposed to have less harmful side effects and it didn't touch it. I was on it for a few years without any side effects at all.

Yes but isn't it easier for you ie with your job. Your average Joe bloggs will get fobbed off esp as most assume doctor knows best, but is that more a case of saving money.

No, nothing to do with saving money. Diclofenac is seen as having a range of side effects along with GI tract inflammation, including liver, kidney and cardiac issues. Diclofenac's been out for a long time and is generic, now, so not expensive. It's just better than all the rest, for me at least, and so side effects. I've had all those organs tested as a function of my various ailments <laugh>

Yeah that's a big part of it. Ended up on proton pump inhibitors which had their own nasty long term side effects.

Also bruised easier on them... I'd just tap somewhere and it'd bruise up as if I whacked it.

Tbf same can be said for all that family of drugs... I just personally didn't get enough pain relief vs effects to make worthwhile.

Be careful of other drug interactions as well.
