CAN understand you exist in an imagined world with illussions of being a billionaire .. must have inherited it? I stated the wider picture of how and why each aspect has developed into the situation which is AG at present one not necessarily being the resuly if the others had not been part of the jigsaw ……… you missed out the Sat tea lady makes a profit … Midweek one breaks even and the odd u's game one makes a loss …. ummmm Its the same lady! …..
Again I do not understand your post. The highlighted? No idea. The question I answered was hypothetical. The answer required an imagined world although I could use a reputable study of football accounts. You took my answer which obviously would refer to a time far before BS then convoluted it. I see you ignored the point about the academy and training facility… Again. You might even be angry about something. Calm down. Have a cup of tea ...
OH A HYPOTHETICAL factual post! not based on reality then? what about the training and academy ? all part of the PIE, in fact the academy has made a monsterous profit last season... if taken as a separate item …. not at all angry about anything, and usually have 5 mugs of tea a day …. the end
Turn the caps lock off … Your post looks angry. Yes indicated in my post Sunday. I was asked a hypothetical question thus gave a hypothetical answer using facts. what about the training and academy ? I think, but am not sure you are asking me a question. My answer to Red Robin indicated I would have not spent so much money if is this hypothetical world it was mine in the first place. I would have instead invested the money in a training facility and the academy instead. you assert that was done on a much grander scale … It has not been. The academy continues to be based in a facility the club does not own, is CAT2 and the training facilities at Failand are considered no longer fit for BCFC to use long term. in fact the academy has made a monsterous profit last season. Yes. A point I have made for years is how valuable a well resourced academy can be. I for years pointed out the folly of spunking millions on journeyman and poor signings instead of upgrading facilities and improving City's development of its own players …There is a huge room for improvement here which hopefully will appear as the new facility is built. Imagine if this had occurred ten years ago? Costs would have been lower, Bristol City could have had that state of the art training facility now, the ground could have still have been redeveloped Mr Lansdown could pursue his Bristol Sport dreamt and he would have saved himself tens of millions from that figure I quoted earlier.
In regards to the training facilities being developed. The work is to start in the spring, finish 2020 and the academy will then move from Stoke Gifford. Till then the first team and staff will be working out of temporary buildings.
