I get the hump when they announce their veganism at irrelevant times. When discussing where to go for lunch or what sort of sandwiches to order for a works function I expect it is valid but to drop it into a non-food related conversation is just attention seeking. And the way they say it makes being a vegan sound like it is an illness "I am a vegan" might just as well be "I have cancer of the arse".

I know. It's a bit like when blokes boast about how much meat they eat thinking it makes them more manly when all everyone is thinking is "look at the state of that fat ****".

The difference is me old fruit is that if a meat eater meets someone for the first time they won't bring up their diet as an identity .

This lady i met last week told me she was a vegan as I was making a coffee , we weren't talking about food .

If she had told me she was a member of a Religeous cult she would have been given a similar response.

I don't think eating a wide variety of foods is manly but fussy whiny people that moan about their limited self inflicted diet are ****s.

Broccoli and cauliflower are nice. I don't think there is a vegetable that I wouldn't eat (apart from Jif).

I don't like most junk foods, McD's, KFC or Burger King is all ****. I like a chow mein from the Skinny Millinkies but eat pretty well in general.

She is a 26 year old Portugese woman that looks a bit like Rihana.

:emoticon-0165-musclShould have asked her if she wants some meat inside her ?

And there is a very good chance I would be facing disciplinary action right now .

I can honestly say that I have never nor ever had anyone profess to being a carnivore as an introduction.

Only boring fùckers who think they are "special" would do something like that.

"Hi I'm Tristain, former SNP activist and dyed in the wool vegetarian, hooray"

"Fùck off and die you ****"

Not gone too exotic with the meat eating, ostrich is about the most unusual and it was lovely. Venison was delish and despite the conditions in which they are kept being not to everyone's taste I'd have to say veal and also calves liver is high on the list of yummy dead things.

Not had rabbit since I was very young and when, to corroborate Chas & Dave, it was still sold in Sainsbury's. Wasn't a fan iirc (rabbit, not Chas & Dave). There used to be a butchers in Portobello Road that had dead rabbits hung up on a rail in the window, I'm sure some of them used to be pets.

Anyone a fan of offal? I like liver and kidneys but not at all keen on hearts and never had tripe.

Having had budget pies and sausages in my time I am certain I've eaten some pretty random animals and parts of animals that would make I'm A Celebrity's menu look positively mundane. I recall a documentary where they were putting all sorts of things in sausages and showed a shelf full of kangaroo heads ready to be chucked in to the mixer!

Any of you had the more exotic things on the menu? Monkey brains, crocodile, wildebeest etc?

She’s got a 20% less chance of getting cancer than you do. Don’t think she’ll be too fussed
