What are the phone records supposed to show? He called a family member? What qualifications do the FA have to infer criminal activity from a list of phone calls (which may or may not have even been made by Sturridge anyway)
exactly, but why has it taken this long to get to that point is what i want to know? if someone has committed an offence, surely that should be top of the list to investigate/chase up?
probably the same qualifications they use to suggest, or not, that someone may or may have not said something if it suits their agenda. and can they prove if anything does exist it was made by sturridge himself, ie similar to downloading and using illegal sources etc to obtain films or applications. this sort of thing should be in the hands of the police, not the joke that is the fa.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...t-Daniel-Sturridge-betting-market-honest.html Seems to get more confusing seems there were bets put on him going to West Brom, Sevilla and Inter. It all seems very shady as paddy power wouldn't normally take a stake that large

Is Sturridge the only player ever to discuss with his family the possible destinations of his loan move? Probably not. Are his family members the first footballer relatives to have placed bets on possible destinations? Probaby not. It looks like both greed and stupidity on their behalf and similarly the bookies who took the bet.
It will be his mobile phone records, looking at his text history. Or maybe not, knowing the FA. Sturridge could become the first footballer to be banned for talking to his family more than the FA deem to be appropriate and at the wrong time of year .....
