Well the 20 hour thing turned out to be bollocks. I spoke to the bloke who said it after work and he just said "just wait" in that sort of defiant, smirky tone. **** this, I'm just going to wait for it to happen.
20 hours 24 hours This week Next week During the international break October November Before Christmas Before the end of the year. Before the game with Forest Take your pick, or just wait and see but don't hold your breath.
It most likely happen a week before the transfer window closes, plenty of time in Ehabs eyes to do any transfer business necessary
I don’t think I can cope without some wag referencing the 24 hours or crayons gag. Let's hope the new owners are as much fun.
Think of the poor bastard City supporters on Venus. An Earth day (24 hrs) is 1/243 th of a day in Hull. Those Venusians heard it was happening in 1 day ! The poor supporters on Saturn have got it worse 'Tis all relative Planet Day Length Mercury 1,408 hours Venus 5,832 hours Earth 24 hours Mars 25 hours Jupiter 10 hours Saturn 11 hours Uranus 17 hours Neptune 16 hours
Come on Duffen, pull your finger out... https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/hull-city-takeover-by-christmas-2237187
Oh oh.... business as usual? Guess that means we’re selling Bowen and Grositski as soon as the window opens.
Is it true though? I'm sceptical of anything that comes from the club. Why is a City spokesman releasing this now? There will be a reason they've done it. My suspicion is that Duffen is being used to try and flush out the other bidders. It worked the first time; the Duffen news broke and then SportyCo came out and made their offer public that week. Now the Allams probably want a bidding war. The club still isn't worth what they want for it. If they wait much longer it could be worth next to nothing. I think they want SportyCo and the American lot to see this and think they'll have to pay over the odds and soonish if they want to get there before Duffen. I'm wondering whether Duffen's deal is even real or just a mate of Ehab helping him to drive the price up.
Honestly think the next 4/6 weeks will be the most important weeks in city's history, if there's no sale then I think we'll really see these two, doing a number on the club out of spite, which will really make the last couple of transfer windows look like we've been on a spending spree, anything that can be sold will and that includes the youngsters that are just starting to come through, its going to be a long 4/6 weeks.
