I think Assem would have given Bruce everything he wanted and probably never sacked him. I think Bruce screwed up the FA Cup Final by substituting his son and disrupting our defence when Arsenal were pushing for an equaliser. By forcing Bruce out Ehab has turned him into a saint. As far as the other replies to my post. I am serious and I haven't been drinking. The only reason we are not up to our eyeballs in debt to the banks is because Assem was taken ill and Ehab got rid of Bruce.
It’s already been done to death on here, the best way to guarantee massive revenue was to remain the Premier League, Ehab made absolutely no attempt to do so. He’s a talentless ****wit who deserves no credit for anything, other than for ****ing up a football club quicker than anyone else.
Some people really like Bruce and some really dont like him But the time to get rid of him was after we were relegated in 2015. Him departing after re-promotion in 2016 was just bizarre
Since Bruce went we've received well over £200 million. Apart from approximately £30 million that money has been predominantly used to pay for the team that Bruce built whilst their contracts ran down. The accounts are publicly available so you can check the figures yourself. If Bruce had got his way he'd have been hopelessly in debt and there is no guarantee he'd have kept us up. I'd say on his past record he definitely wouldn't have kept us up.
We started successive seasons with half a squad. Ehab has done nothing but **** off our best ever manager & run the club into the ground. It there for all to see. Even his most ardent supporters, like you, know he’s a useless ****.
The time to get rid of Bruce was Xmas 2014 after he ****ed up the first half of the season - he managed about the same number of points that Phelan did with twice the squad - we'd have probably survived with the squad we had and a half decent manager - Bruce wasn't sacked he walked because the Allans didn't trust him not to spunk another £40 million
It was part of Ehab’s master plan to save the club. Not win the FA Cup Get relegated Stay relegated Empty the coffers Bruce spoiled the plan by getting us promoted again. We’re a lot better off with next to **** all in the lower end of the Championship than languishing in the PL with hundreds of millions in income. It’s an obvious road to glory & financial success. Mourinhio’s been employed by United to follow a similar path to Lord Ehab. #bestrunclub #suckers
There was zero chance of him playing for Hull City again, Steve Bruce's exit was just a convenient excuse. He had a year left on his contract and wouldn't have signed a new one even if we had stayed up, he would have been sold that window regardless. In an honest interview he would have said that he had outgrown the club and he wanted to play at a higher level for more money elsewhere, none of us would have begrudged him that.
Does he thank Hull City for taking the gamble on him when they signed him for a considerable amount and rescued him from obscurity in Scottish football. Be honest who had heard of him before City took the gamble on him ?
West Ham and Southampton had already bid for him, we were lucky to get him, we rescued him from nothing.
There was no luck involved. Hull City offered more money. That's not luck. Similar to when we signed Bowen from Hereford, because we offered more money then anyone else. That wasn't luck either. Ditto Clucas and Maguire. We did rescue Robertson from part time football in Scotland and gave him a chance on the big stage.
It's a risk paying any money at all for any Scottish footballer who had never played outside of Scotland. Do you remember Paul Hunter ? Those weren't supporting Hull City then can always google his name. He cost us a fortune when we signed him, supposedly beating Chelsea for his signature and probably worth more in those days then the fee we paid for Robertson. I think we had to pay another Scottish club to take him off our hands. Darrly Duffy anyone ? Ian McPharland ? Was it 'luck' that we signed those Jocks too ?
I thought you said the accounts showed we are up to our eyeballs in debt. 60 odd million isn't it? Ah just seen the words" to the banks"
