You lads not think the right thing to do would be wait until his court case has took place before finding him guilty?
Gazza's problems are too do with his addictions and personal demons, what club he paid for would have no effect on this. All clubs can point to past players with problems.
Well we'll never know for sure but from my experience those at that level of self destruct will generally continue that path, especially when young.

Fair point and should have said so in my posts For this sort of offence to bring charges though I'd expect there to be witnesses/cctv, particularly as he was arrested the same day.
You said if Gazza hadn't of played for Spurs and instead played for Utd, he probably wouldn't have become an alcoholic, so does that mean if George Best hadn't played for Utd, he would also have steered clear from alcohol?

Happened to my best pal. Some bird screamed rape and within a few hours he was locked up and the house turned over. He was bailed and then charged but it never went to court.
Indeed mate ... I'm really not in favour of things like this getting into the public domain unless the person named is a real threat to society .... mud sticks and if he is innocent .... note if ... then this will not help his obviously fragile mental state .. the media will argue that "it's in the public interest" ... is it **** .... ... if the incident actually did take place on a train it is likely it was caught on CCTV ....so no need for all this furore in advance of his court date ... IMHO
Yeah I've had a mate it happen to as well though they were never charged, just banged up for a few hours. I've actually said before that names in these cases shouldn't be reported unless they are convicted as once it's out there its out there... Hope you've been well recently anyway fella
