Can we keep onto our best in summer and keep the good'ns that we have got as pardew put it.

Tiote - (Swooped by a top 10 team)
    Barton - (Contract agreed yet?)
    Nolan - (Off to liverpool??)
Colo - (the best defender i have seen at newcastle......) Deserves so much more credit then he is ever given
Enrique - (Swooped back to big homeland team)
Joans - (Maybe will want to leave with all the mindless fans abusing him, even tho he is fantastic)

there is more aswell but to be honest all off the above could very easily be sold and or want to be sold as a result of the club not continuing with the promise off keeping our best. I understand you can sell your best when your team is the best, i.e man utd and ronaldo.

However newcastle are currently toothless and come the summer we might be left jawless and legless.

:) dont mean to be negative. Just do not believe that we will have our other prized assess in the summer at this rate, we have at least 3 off the above who are champions league quality

watch for the ball you are correct woodgate was brilliant but i rate colo just as good as him and he is more consistent as he does not get injured every time he plays football

I'd be worried about loosing Enrique to barca just because they lack a left back really!
However hopefully he is flying just enough under the radar!

I've heard that Ashley is looking at ways of trying to transfer the fans to other teams.

There'll be a lot of teams that would like those three but would the Pieman really be stupid enough to let them go?

I think out of all our players, the only ones we have to worry about will be Tiote and Jose. Tiote will, unfortunately, be off to either a top 4/5 EPL side or a top team in Europe. Same for Jose, who will probably want to head back to Spain in order to gain a national call-up, which if im honest, I would not hold against him. Barton will be here for the rest of his career 100%. Not just because he said it, but no team wants him in their side. More fool them, I think he;s our player of the season and tbh, comes accross as the ultimate professional these days and very grounded.

Jose and Tiote - £20-25 million.

I agree with Tiote and Enrique, if Jose is snapped up by either Barcelona or Real Madrid then I would genuinely be quite happy for him. He deserves a national call-up but let's hope its while he's a toon player :D

The only two sides I can realistically see buying Tiote are Man Utd and Chelsea. Man Utd will want to strengthen their midfield and Chelsea will want to replace Essien. But with Chelsea being unable to spend in the summer, we could perhaps up the price of Tiote to put off Man utd. I don't think Man Utd's owners are as stupid as Liverpool's owners when it comes to valuation.
