    If I understand this easy format correctly, this now means that we can screw up our Euro 2020 qualification and still be in the playoffs?

    To me this nations league thing is pointless, and changed a way of doing something that didn’t really need changing in the first place.

    I like it because it replaces some friendlies with competitive games....Southgate said it was a long time since he heard the fans get so involved at Wembley (though of course that is mainly due to the fact that England are worth watching again). Also there are lower leagues which give smaller footballing nations a chance of competitive football as well. And let's not forget the fun of Germany being relegated. :)
