Can't argue with topping a group with Spain and Croatia in it with 2 wins, a draw and a defeat.

When do we find out who we play in the semis?

This Nations League thing isn't a bad idea.

 

Absolutely love the nations league! Compare that, the spain game and croatia vs spain the other day to a drab friendly that means nothing. Fans and players genuinely care and it reflects in the quality of football.

Shame we go back to club football

France or Netherlands.

Really enjoyed that, plus the added bonus of ‘Sad Lovren’. A sight that never gets old.

 

Shame so few kids will get to watch it now that these games are not on terrestrial television.

That Steven Davis has hardly kicked a ball for Southampton this season is even more mind-boggling to Northern Ireland fans than the question of how their team hasn’t managed to score for so long.

The 34-year-old produced another excellent performance – he very rarely doesn’t - on what was his 106th international cap in Thursday’s scoreless draw in Dublin.

A second game just three days later will no doubt be a test for Davis, but you have to wonder what Saints boss Mark Hughes thinks about his international form."

 

I enjoyed the competitiveness of this Nations League...teams want to win (as they would in more major comps) but didn't show the paralysing fear that can occur in the World and European Cups. Far better than friendlies.

Enjoyed the bonus of Lovren being nutmegged prior to England's first goal.
