just waiting for a smart Brit to suggest they reduce the benefits, say to zero, until you have been in the country for a year and paid taxes.

 

I think the irony of Australians moaning about migrants has got to be up there with Brits moaning about freedom of movement after having had an empire.

 

Greenfell towers had quite a few asylum seekers in it didn't it ? and the rent was £2,000 a month I believe ?

 

Last poll I saw it was 54% for Remain not 52%.

Only for private properties in Grenfell Towers. 14 of the 129 flats were privately owned under right to buy. The other 115 were still social housing so would have cost the people renting or the council who owned it a fraction of that.

Not that this snide punching down, divide and conquer article from the express would care about that.

A mate of mine has just returned from a bit of a “lads” trip to Poland. He said the Poles were not very friendly despite efforts to make conversation. He said there was just one Polish guy why wanted to have a chat. At around 6’ 4” and looking like a steroid factory, he wanted to “advise” them why the Poles don’t like England and are returning... In his words, “You have too many Pakis and allow anyone in”...
