We had him at Cardiff before he went across to the Wurzels for a season. Good keeper but Malky preferred David Marshall at the time and Tom was left out in the cold. Been very good at Burnley since, but from my memory of him there's no way he's 6' 2" as suggested.
No probs shaks. Good keeper but he has got a rick in him. Remember a game at home against Middlesrough the season before we went up the first time. They beat us 3-0 at the CCS and effectively ended our hopes that year. I remember he was the keeper that day and he had a mare. His positional play for a header that was lobbed across him for one of their goals was horrendous - he was rooted and had no chance. For that goal he seemed more like 5' 2" than 6' 2".
Keepers all make mistakes. You just notice them more when it’s yours that makes them... and if you lose the game. Burnley have a stock pile of keepers who’ve had good seasons in the past... but can’t displace a guy who’s leaking cricket scores. Need to be realistic... any keeper bielsa picks will have to be good with his feet. Requirements: solid keeper, excellent distribution, experienced... and not wanted by his current club. Blackman has a broken Tibia according to news reports ive read.he now returns to Chelsea.this leaves us with one inexperienced over rated goalie to pick from .yes a club with our staure in the game has tried to do it on the cheap once again . Rads needs to step back and take a good look at this squad and see the lack of pace and quality.promotion is just a dream for me now and i cannot hope for January signings to fix things.its time to up the budget and spend some of the extortion money from high priced ticket sales and food and drink.
