I has to be said, it looks a lot better with the faces centred but
why does Santon look like he's got evil alien green eyes!? lol
I do like the scarfe waving pic - not one I've seen before so a
nice find - if the top get's hidden by the navigation bar would
it look like they're nazi salutes?

Out of interest, what are the large arcs derived from Steve?

FWIW, my earlier comments about your SAFC header were
actually directed at the earlier 'railings' and cat silhouette one!
I'm not sure about the x2 players mind - what would it look
like with the background in blues/grey cool colours and then
have the players in their red/white proper strips? Is that the
top of a large "S" running through between the cat's eyes?

Like the idea behind this one, with the faces like that - must be a right pain in the arse to find pictures perfectly like that. But the squished line drawing logo behind them isn't very attractive imo.

Also should we go over this with a fine toothcomb to find a hidden insult in there somewhere? Just kidding, good to see you put effort into a rival teams board. .

If Steve's like me, he just likes manipulating graphics and seeing it used by people who 'get' the idea/layout.

How about having the really old castle/magpie logo to the left of the faces, the big round NUFC centre (the
one with the graphic magpie) largest and the current crest to the right of them (this still in the line format
used already)?

 

Santons face was too bright, so i had to mess on with the hue/saturation, i probably havnt got it spot on (I am colour blind which doesnt help me in that respect), I tried to match him to Kruls tone, but failed miserably, even i can see that, I may have another go at his face later.

I already put on what it would look like on the forum, and i didnt notice any nazi stuff but then i wasnt looking. its in this thread somewhere.

Well obviously Gordon never plays in red and white, as he is the goalkeeper, Larsson is a new player who scored a fantastic goal (and will probably be here for awhile) I just thought the Blue matched. (but again i have took them out on a pic in this thread somewhere)

The cats eyes i had to desturate, they were yelow and black originally, i couldnt fine red eyes at all, as soon as i done it and it was put on, cypresssyd put a red eye pick in his sig, I was damn.

The Swirly thing is just a high def background i had on my pc.

I have only been messing with Photoshop for the past 6 months, and its nowhere near every day, Its just a bit of fun for me and I am learning new stuff every day, and yes I do still have a **** load to learn. I got the idea for the Movie style players faces from the photoshop top secret DVDs Movie poster tutorial.

 

I feel a bit of a cheat here then Steve as it's my day job! oops..

Whilst it can seem pretty cool messing with Photoshop all day
and getting paid a tidy salary it does obviously have it's more
mundane bits too! You're doing fine so far if you're only working
in PS with things you've picked up or learned yourself but it's
the best way - plenty of practice and experimentation does pay
off if you want to do this kind of work!

 

In all honesty, i will never get a job doing it, with being colour blind, its like a fighter pilot or an electrician, its just not going to happen, I should really be getting stuck into PHP and MYSQL, rather than photoshop, but programing languages just confuse the crap out of me. and this is fun (sometimes) the Eye bridge banners took me about 3 minutes to do, the 2nd one about 10 seconds, the Players one must have took me 5 hours + of tinkering, and its still not 100% right.

 

It has to be this one, that's brilliant.

 

Ben Arfa is our best player and has worldwide status he should Definitely be on the banner.

Well, without the badge there and the Newcastle United from it, it looked bland, mind you i had to google for your motto, and i think its more for the city than the club, but it think it goes quite well and you can see it properly as well on the forum (took me 3 pics to get it right)

 

We've got more than 10 to be honest, but there's had to be a couple of exclusions. No word on the max poll option extension either, so we'll have to stick with 10. The 10 I'm most likely putting in are in the first post on page 19. Steve's will be swapped for his newer one though, of course.


I'll make the poll shortly, if we're all happy?
