Yes i agree. This England team Kanes playing in is very young, vibrant and spoilt for choice with creative players.
Rooney hardly ever scored against Europes elite, his goals came against teams like Macedonia.

 

To answer the question, then I expect he will do providing he stays injury free and no one better comes through.

He'll be playing harder teams than his predecessors though.

As an Englishman I want England to do well and as Kane is our current striker and doing ok I will support him irrespective of what club he plays for.
If Kane keeps injury free he could break the goal scoring record if he continues to take the penalties rather than the corners.
