I think it misses out a couple of vital cogs. No mention of Webber anywhere, choosing in the main to credit only Farke for the transfer business. And no mention of super Alex Tettey. I’ve been looking for that FML, as I’ve seen how well supported other clubs are, but not as a percentage of capacity. I expect ours to go up as well, as I know several people have bought half-season STs.
Been begging for Sancho, and the pundits are all in love with him at half time. Sancho was waaaay behind Foden before he moved! Know another player people have been crying our for, for so long? Madders. When he makes his first start, they will be all lovey-dovey over him too. I really think he will make an impression like Sancho. Imagine Sancho, Madders and Nelson in the same team! So exciting! Foden doesn't even get a mention until he starts some games (for me) As we know, retired Rooney and never playing Delph can still get picked and given the captaincy. So maybe Madders will miss out for Lampard.
I questioned why Delph was captain too but tbf it’s a very young team and he has had a really good game. Also with Dier and Hendo coming back from injury there was no point risking them. Sancho and Alexander-Arnold have done really well

How can this be right?????? So Richard Scudamore is accepting his £5M ‘Golden Handshake’ from the PL – albeit over 3 years (probably for some tax dodge ). By doing some rough calculations ‘on the back of a *** packet’ (well a spreadsheet actually!!!), I make that 5 or MORE times what the average fan will earn in a LIFETIME!!! So VAR is in, but any further quotas for overseas players has been rejected and is on hold for now. I think VAR is good and ultimately will improve the game, especially for us smaller clubs. As for the quotas, I am generally in favour of decreasing the overseas player allocation of each club. Already the restrictions mean that you need not field a homegrown player in your matchday XI, I think we need to look after our own a little more. bah!
So some interesting results last night – with Netherlands beating France and Wales losing to Denmark. Now can Engerland beat Croatia tomorrow evening?????
