The biggest **** that has ever been involved in sport is 'Arry Redknapp without a shadow of a doubt.

You gotta admit, he's a better manager than Clive Woodward

I had a completely irrational hatred of Bob Wilson the Arsenal GK when I was about 10, mainly because he looked like a chicken..
Hated Billy Bremner and Johnny Giles too, the filthy ****s.

I'm not really into Formula 1 so that might be one reason that I'm not overly keen on Lewis Hamilton who I see as a bit of an arrogant twat ... seems to me that winning the Formula 1 title has much more to do with the car and technology than the skill of the individual - and the money they get paid for driving round and round in circles seems immoral. <cheers>

I love F1, and I'm not a hamilton fan for exactly those reasons, but compared to Verstappen he's humble, down to Earth and full of humilty.

I don't get the whole so and so is arrogant

As a successful person generally you need to have arrogance and to be a very successful sportsman you have to be more arrogant than most. I like to call it self belief rather than arrogance

well, Verstappen will try to swipe you off if you go for a legitimate overtake, then blame you, calling you stupid for trying and he ignores any instructions he doesn't like. That's not confidence.

There's a difference, in my opinion.
It's one thing to think that you can be the best. It's another entirely to think that it should all be handed to you on a plate.

Yeah I agree with that. And it's not quite what I'm saying.

Take Hamilton. Bores the **** out of me tbph but I don't see him as arrogant.

He's going in the jungle isn't he?

Who was that Portuguese centre back who slapped Lallana and kicked the ball into the crowd?

    Edit: Rocha?
