I'd definitely be for it. I'm not sure what would happen to the immediate foreigners already playing in the country but just say theoretically clubs had to sell enough to meet the quota, they wouldn't sell their star foreign players, it'll be the ones taking up squad places. So in theory, even short term, there wouldn't be much of a decrease in quality. Long term, it'll pick back up to whatever standard it was because with a greater emphasis on investing in youth, clubs will be producing good calibre homegrown players at a better rate.
Well said Frankly some of the baiting of the lad has been unedifying and you have done the right thing by him
Well yeah, but that wasn't the point really. In any case, some clubs do produce good British players and this could encourage more to do the same. I personally don't have an issue with it.
Somebody from Chelsea needs to get on the blower to Tel Aviv to tell Roman to send a big suitcase full of readies to FIFA.
Nah man, you're right. Spurs might actually have a few titles in the bag if all the other clubs had their best players banned from the Premier League.
Good to see he’s at least saying the right things, such as taking himself out of the firing line by stopping with these ridiculous home movies. Whether he sticks to that decision is another matter, highly unlikely imo.
I think he's morphed from Carrick Fan to Brad Pitt. ****ing ego on him, amazed he's not mobbed on the street.
