Saw the film, liked it so much I bought the book. Haven't got round to reading it yet, may give it a go when I finished the Ben Kane trilogy I'm on.

Full metal jacket is a cracking film, in a similar vein I also love Hamburger Hill, just for the realism it portrays.

Best action bits, rather than PURE action from start to finish, has to be Apocalypse Now. The combination of Yank UberFirepower and Conrad is an idea from bedlam!!

    Big Trouble Little China

Astonished nobody has mentioned it...... Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."

    hahah quality

The fights in the Bournes, when he is one on one, are brilliant long lasting and realistic. <ok>

Then he takes on 3 or 4 at a time and kicks their arses in minutes. :p

    Just gotta love movies. :)

One of the best one off fight scenes, was Statham in the garage, covered in oil in "Transporter"

French Connection. Great car chase, acting was as good as it gets, true story line. FC II was bad either.
