If I do get a dog I'm thinking of going old skool and getting a Doberman Pinscher...impressive creatures.

Wanted an Akita...then a Huskie..then all things considered thought, naaah.

We're having a new conservatory put up and I asked about a fitted catflap somewhere in the structure. When he quoted the price the damn cat was seconds from being ****ing homeless!

Bloody thing better not piss in the house again!!

Why are pets more expensive than kids these days?

Tail docking is illegal now, unless it's done for working dogs like Spaniels etc. I suppose a Doberman could be called a working dog, but there's no need to dock its tail. It's cruel ****. Dogs use their tails for balance and communication with other dogs.

Anyway, this is my puppy, Luna. She’s a cross springer / collie. Bright as a button and as mad as a box of frogs.

My brother-in-law has a German shepherd pup - just over a year old - it is going to be absolutely massive when full grown - huge now (and its' dad was ginormous) - takes it for walks around Ross-On-Wye ... not long ago he was on the phone to my missus whilst walking it ... it stopped to **** - next thing we heard was "For ****'s sake Kylo, that's a double handful" ... that's the problem with big dogs <laugh> and you really do have to walk them every day .. <ok>.

Yeah without a doubt...dogs should not be vanity investments...you got to know what you're letting yourself into to. Reckon I would already have a dog by now if it wasn't for the practicalities...will stick to bitches for now.

I'd like a bigger breed if I ever retire and we move to somewhere even more rural ... as it is, we have a 100ft long garden and the little lass loves nothing better than chasing her ball up there ... although, in fairness, my missus does take her for a walk most days if it's not pissing down ...
