Wow they are roughly the same expectations as mine, could it be that every single liverpool fan has the same expectations or could it be that 19 is talking out of his arse again.
you lot could probably try and aim for third now it looks like arsenal are up **** creek and spurs don't look as quality and have a moody modric
We're aiming for first. Whether we get first is a different matter! What's the point in entering a league if you're aiming for third?
You're seriously going to stop the expectations if/when he reaches 4th? If you expect me to believe that then the only one communicating via his rectum is you, my dear boy.
So if we get 4th you think it would be "rather grandiose" to hope for an improvement on that? Think you need one of these please log in to view this image
No, the expectations won't stop, but if we do finish 4th and strengthen again next summer, it would certainly be less 'grandiose' than it currently is to aim for the title the following season wouldn't it? The more conservative among us would be looking at a real challenge for the title in a couple of seasons' time. It's a little thing called progression.
You expect to reach 4th, a consequence of that would be to expect to go further and win the league would it not? This isn't that difficult to comprehend, you know. Irony here is that you're trying to make me look the fool.
well, you should see third as the season being a success, anything above that being fantastic and below being expected/worse than
I know what progression is, you tart. Thing is, the general consensus amongst Liverpool fans is that the man to make the "progression" to silverware is Kenny Dalglish.
I don't understand... First you say we have grandiose expectations, to which we say we aim to finish 4th and go on from there, and now you're saying winning the league is an expectation we should have after doing so? So essentially you're on our side and our expectations aren't actually ridiculous at all? And why shouldn't it be Kenny? He hasn't done bad so far has he? He has the highest win percentage both in this spell and his last spell of all our managers, at a little over 60%. We're not basing our expectations on nothing, you know.
i'd say that thats more or less it. But if spurs and arsenal falter much more i see a large gap between the top 3, u in 4th then another large gap between 5/6. This season will be interesting to say the least
