Look on the brightside, at least it is one of the teams who were going to change manager who haven't gone for Allardyce. Paves the way for us when we lose to Fulham
What do you consider a flop? If they back him he'll keep thrm up comfortably imo. ------------------- Agree. Players will back him, no discontent. Think he'll do a solid. Unfortunately.
They really don't need that much as well. Shock horror spending £100m in the transfer window on 10 (?) players doesn't produce immediate results. The players Fulham have in midfield and attack are probably a top half team, just need to bring in a centre back to organise. Wouldn't surprise me to see Cahill go there in Jan, be exactly what they need in the short term.
Any news on the PL clubs' responses to the request of quarter of a million towards Scudamore's 'gift'?
"It is understood five clubs oppose the idea, including Cardiff's fellow newly promoted sides Wolves and Fulham." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46209165
Irrelevant in my eyes, almost any chief executive would have made PL club millions, he's not responsibility for the popularity of football and the amount of passion here in particular. Paying a bloke (who's earnt £25m+ in this position) a £5m bonus when fans up and down the country can't afford to go ****ing stinks imo. Can't wait till we go down.
"It is understood five clubs oppose the idea, including Cardiff' --------------------------- Well, that's fair enough. Only been here 5 mins and asked for a brown bags worth of cash.
He should be given a watch or similar. I would understand it if he provided his services free or for a pittance, but he was well paid to do his job. How much money does he need.
I’d like to propose that each Premier league club says “n0” and donates £250k to be split between 10 or 20 boys teams in their area that have teams from age U7s to U16s. 12.5k or 25k would be huge to a boys club. Fecking scandalous.
