Come on Erik, you've got an avatar picture of a beaver doing 'mauled by the Tigers' while treading water. Which is camper?

It has come to my attention that Liverpool and Manchester United fans are arguing on my fantastic thread. Well as a neutral Norwich fan I have to say the Manu fans have easily won the argument and the Liverpool fans look like thick, gay, bitter, tinpot ****ers. Its pretty pathetic really
Messi is, on form, easily the best player in the world. How many goals did he score last year? 55 or something daft, along with 20 odd assists? Don't forget that was in the same league Ronaldo plays in, and Ronaldo's team aren't bad either! Having said that, I think Ronaldo is a more complete player, for the reason that he could play in any league in the world. I'd love to see how Messi fared at the Brittania Stadium...
Messi would tear stoke a new one and relegate them with a ten goal performance, okay maybe not but to think messi couldnt perform against stoke when the likes of chicharito tore them up last year is abit silly
The Messi/stoke on a cold monday night arguement is a pile of piss and reflects embarrassingly on those who use it to justify an unjustifiable position
i haven't a clue about this but, if u put ronaldo in the barca team and messi in the madrid team, who would be perform and be considered as the best player in the world?
I'm not, for a minute, implying that Messi would struggle against Stoke in terms of footballing ability. My point is he'd just get nailed! Like hell any of the physical teams in the Premiership would put up with him drifting past them! He'd be crippled in no time at all! Ronaldo is a good example. At 18, he was a runt and kept getting the hard end of it, and he spent years bulking up. Now, he's huge, and he uses his physicality as well as his technique. I'm not saying Messi wouldn't be class in the Premiership, just I think Ronaldo would still be the better player in that league.
Messi would be shocking against Stoke. I reckon if Messi was ambitous enough to try his hand in the best league in the world (premier league) then he'd be about as good as someone like Chamakh or Gyan. Ronaldo would score about 80 a season for Barca, Messi would get about 8 for Madrid and would be dropped. Sorry guys
