Lol. Let me think about that for a while....there's unlikely to be a likelihood that you're not right.
Yeah cracking result for Lynn, I didn't go but have been told the performance wasn't great; I guess goals win games though, and against opposition from the division above you're going to take them!
Tremendous stuff, CS. My brow furrowed a little after Kyle Naughton, my pulse quickened at Bradley Johnson and by the time I got to Wes Hoolahoop, I imagine your little ears were burning. Daft thing is, if your appraisal fell into the 'wrong' hands (Hansen, Lawrenson, for example) they'd read, digest and nod sagely as if to say "I told you so" Top effort
No worries fella There's banter me and my mates have played down the pub etc for years called the '1' game, where the idea is to state something deliberately wrong/stupid, and when someone jumps up to correct you you greet them with a raised finger (a la cricket umpire) and by saying the word '1' at which point they will generally crumble with embarrassment. For example, a real basic one would be something like saying "I bet Grant Holt doesn't score a single premiership goal this season", if somebody is stupid enough to correct this by stating he's already got one they would be greeted with the '1' treatment. I got the missus with a standard '1' the other night during the England game. I missed the first goal as was upstairs, came down into the living room and could see that we'd scored as it clearly said 0-1 on the screen but said to the wife "I thought we'd have scored by now", she turned round and said "we have - we're 1-0 up!" and then I gave her the look, the finger and she knew she'd been had. I think Lovejoy started it on Soccer AM years ago and we've got it to a pretty high standard nowadays with all sorts of 'reverse 1's and 'double reverse 1's designed to keep you on your toes. Heck, it's the little things in life.....
And it has been pickd up by Newsnow...Ha ha ha....So many people will take this on face value and not see the irony. Brilliant.
Oh, maybe not, just went to look and could not see this post on NewsNow. I thought that if it turned into an 'Article' it meant it had been picked for the wider audience? Dave?
If a post is promoted to 'article' status it has been shown to NewsNow! The decision on whether or not to publish lies solely with them
Isn't it odd how Leeds fans suddenly decided he was rubbish AFTER he decided not to sign a new contract with them and to move to an upwardly mobile club instead....
Fairly funny but it would have been better after getting a few wins under our belt, we have drawn 2 and lost 1 and could very easily get bogged down in this league if we don t win soon. We have hardly set the prem alight with our outstanding skill and wonder goals........ This article could well bite you hard on the arse PC... Smugness and sarcasm only really works when we are firing on all cylinders......
