Why do we always have to have embarassments running our club Freddy Shephard used to be a total embarrasment with the prostitiutes etc.
Bloke is a waste of space. Is this really how we want our club represented? While I'm all for enjoying a night out, when you are in position he is you have an image to uphold. Would we see pics of Man U's directors like this? Or any other club for that matter? Everyone is quick enough to get on the players backs for giving the club a bad name if they are mentioned in relation to this kind of thing. Its no different for him. Sure players have to be physically fit (Mike clearly is not), so indulging in massive binge sessions is unprofessional, but its also about the image of the club. The bloke is a classless ****er. Just no defence for this kind of thing and illustrates what an ill fit the man is to run a football club.
Hopefully next time he is at a game. Some fans will have some crafty little chants to sing to him. Oh, but wait....he's got rid of the singing section, so that sort of thing doesnt happen anymore.
I'll be hones i really don't give a toss what a man gets up to when he's out with his mates. in fact i find it pathetic that someone sold him out to a tabloid when he obviously thought he was in trusted company. if any of our mates were the ones doing it on a night out we'd think it was hilarious (as well as a little embarrassing). he isn't 'representing our club' when he's out on the lash with his mates. I'm certainl;y not representing my employer when i'm out and about on the lash.
To be honest; I've done far worse than that. I went Full Monty at a charity gig once when I was 21 and raised £7. It was cold...
precisely man. when i think of some of the things i've got up to on nights out i'd have been jailed had they made the tabloids. a guy having a laugh in supposed trusted company is of no concern to me whatsoever
What's with you lot? Don't you ever get wasted? The guy's a billionaire and he's allowed to have some fun. While I don't get kicks out of taking my own clothes off... I have no problem with him having a laugh. I'm sure he works hard, so let him play hard. If I had as much money I'd get really f****ed up. Those pictures are tame. And you're all goodytwoshoes about them. His wife ran off with half of his money. He's stinking rich. And he doesn't care what other people think. I'm actually starting to regard him as a human being after this. Thanks for posting the link though. I'm sure the person who shared the pics to the newspaper is getting the sack though.
Everyone to their own. I have been pissed, stripped and done various other unseemly things in my time. But I'm not a figure head of the club. And now because of my employment I'd probably tread very carefully when getting myself into a state because it could be viewed poorly by our clients if someone who knew me saw me. I personally think that when you get into a position where you are a public face of the club you have to ensure this kind of thing does not happen, and measure yourself by slightly higher standards. As I say I have no problem with people having a drink and stripping or whatever they want to do. But he hasn't exactly been careful about it and you have to view it the same as with Freddy and Douglas when they were making crass comments about the area when in that brothel. People were outraged then but they didn't say those things expecting them to be heard by anyone else. Like it or not but by becoming our owner, he has become a public face of the club. As such he needs to behave more professionally and in keeping with a role he has. Get wasted but ensure it stays behind closed doors or you'll continually bring this kind of embarassment to our club.
