It would appear so. The list of horses he has finished second to is very impressive

When will they actually put a proper jockey on Coeur Blimey, am a huge fan of the horse and this does look very winninable especially after a few blows on the flat. But I’d be extremely worried about him staying especially with Lucy on board (can I just say not one for usually slating a jockey, but with a good professional on board, he would have won a handful of times)

Don't think Paul Nicholls would send only one runner all the way up to Carlisle for no reason, in the 2.35 he has DOLOS. Should strip fitter today, should have better conditions and is also top rated by at least 6 pounds. Taken the 6/4.

I would like to think that Sir Barney will be on before lunch indicating the chances of Hendo's chances at Kempton, he could well win the first 5 races.

Finally at Southwell I like the old boy SIR GEOFFREY who loves it here.

I’d be tempted to have a couple of quid ew on foresee in the first at Kempton for tony Carroll . I see harry bannister gets the ride, a jockey who’s been impressing me of late.

Haven’t backed any of them but I’d be most confident about the first 2 (12.45 and 1.15). I think the next pair (1.50 and 2.25) are plenty short enough in the betting and could be a bit vulnerable if the creditable challengers bring their best form to the table. Will they though that is the question.

The last 2 (2.55) contest a ‘Pertemps Qualifier’ (yet another ‘qualifier incidentally! Cor bally blinkin’ blimey these things are like buses at the moment) and not many sets of connections actively try to win these things. Although the great man did win this one back in ’10.

How many will the Lieutenant win at Kempton today??? If someone held a gun to my head, although I’m sure no-one would ever want to do that, then I’d say 3.

Said this before on here but its the family "hobby". She is a shockingly bad jockey. I would back theirs in the first today but not with her on it thanks!

I say the heir to the biscuit tin fortune, Rich Richtea, has only gone and sent a horse to the ‘wrong’ Nicky! Stupid boy. One can only surmise that just prior to this decision the steward forgot to put the T in his GnT.

Wilhelm Vonvenster is set to run for Nicky Richards later this week.

Given Medicean has only a 14% strike rate at Southwell and the horse won under a hold up ride last time, in against the short priced jolly Gilded Heaven in the next.

Bold Spirit would be fascinating but the drift tells a story, and as such it’s the second favourite Weld Al Emerat for me. Needs to ping the gates, but if he does he looks the obvious one to make the favourite work on this surface

Honey Gg in the next, Mayson has a good strike rate, yard in form, money behind it and form is strong.

Hendo's had the first then, I see.

Meanwhile, anyone noticed that at Cheltenham on Friday he ups Pym in both distance and class - 5.5 furlongs and into a Grade 2.

Sociologist to beat Knightly Spirit in the next, purely on sires I’d say the former will like this and the latter won’t.
