Martins presence in the change of formation helped us get back in the game , occupied the defenders to allow Campbell and Grosicki more space , but I'm not sure how 1 player can compete in so many aerial challenges without leaving the ground once , he must have lead in his boots. Keane actually offers more than him , which i don't say lightly
This. Martin does indeed occupy a defender, but he is glacially slow and offers no aerial threat. The notion that he is a viable upgrade on our existing strikers is laughable. So far, anyway.
Didnt martins aerial challenge lead to the first goal. He's more of a threat than Keane or Dicko. I'm happy to have him.

Annoying to lose it like that, however I think we would have taken a pint beforehand, and if we’re really honest, we didn’t deserve to win after those mistakes! The overall atmosphere and confidence appears to be getting better which can only be a good thing.
