    Southport is famous for that wonky road along the beach. Funny as.

    Took my lad the for a footy comp once and it ended in a mass brawl parents and all against some jock team.

    Yeah, I thought that man Tom Pope was going to snatch a comeback at one time there. I'd forgot all about Pope until i saw him come up as scorer, their top man.

    Although i can't stand Port Vale, there was a bit of bad feeling between them and us some years back when we won the League Two championship.

    They ain't Scousers, they're woolyback Lancastrians that found themselves part of Metropolitan County of Merseyside in 1974 as part of the local government act.
    The stuck up ****s can **** off back to being part of West Lancashire as far as we're concerned.:emoticon-0100-smile

    The only good thing about the place is the fairground, the tide never comes in and it takes ten minutes to get to the sea for a paddle.<laugh>
