He is guilty of unsportsmanlike behaviour... he could quite rightly have his say over their dissallowed goal but should have said we were wrongly denied a penalty.

I sincerely hope he is charged with bringing the game into disrepute.

We all know that he is right that the referee was incompetent, we also all know that you're not allowed to say that.

I thought it refreshing to hear someone speak their mind and I don't think he bought the game into disrepute at all, nice to hear someone not quoting from the PR hand book.
Yes he could have mentioned the penalty incident but how would the game turn out if they went 2-0 up before our penalty shout.
As for offside, I'll say again, I'm with Brian Clough on this, if he is on the pitch he is interfering with play, alternatively scrap offside.

True but the penalty incident was at 1-0.

I agree with the Cloughie thing. His position will dictate other players' positions hence he is interfering with play.

Anyone know how Hughes's injury is?

Might have been it was a tactical move to get more support up front for Success.

Hopefully just a knock if injured though - this time last year Hughes suffered the hamstring injury which kept him out for months!

I think he did pick up something as I saw during the game he was moving a bit gingerly just before he was taken off, hope it's not serious as he is a bit of a terrier in midfield upsetting the opposition.

The ref thought Yoshida had actually touched the ball hence disallowing their goal and presume he though Bertrand also got the ball when tackling Chalobah ..

A case of where having the ref explaining his decisions might have helped .

And where VAR may have produced the correct decision, refs will make mistakes, just need a mechanism to correct such errors. It's a tough job and one I could not do.
