Davies is a left back boys and came in from Morecambe’s academy last Summer as another of Orta’s future prospects. With Tom Pearce being attached to the first team most of the season young Davies stepped into his shoes and has performed brilliantly. With Pearce being injured again Bielsa wanted cover on the left so got promoted.
Lost did you Wakey pal. For what it's worth I watched the game on the box last night and I thought you did OK to be honest - just couldn't handle their pace on the break. Looks a pretty good setup that Bielsa has crafted for you out of what are basically the same players as last season. One exception though - that Alioski bloke out wide on the left looks a right prick. I thnk you've got the Wurzels next up - jolly good luck to you from all in South Wales.....
Well that was disappointing, been too pissed off to post. We hear a lot about our academy & U23s but we can't be getting it completely right if we haven't got a RB better than Dallas at the club to cover for Ayling. I don't know why Bielsa has so much praise for him. Have to agree that it might be time to give Blackman a chance.
Best right back at the club for skill is Bryce Hossanah but hes out injured. shackelton is right midfield but Robbie Gotts could do it and remember we have Coyle available in January if we want
Piss off shaks - we won and you lost. When you're neutral and not involved with either side as a supporter, you don't always recognise the same failings as those with far more knowledge - we just view a game of football. I thought you passed the ball quite well, but your movement up front was poor and the final ball suffered. At the back, you were exposed by power and pace - Matt Phillips was immense. Your keeper didn't help mind.
