Think I’m going to agree, originally I didn’t want BPF dropped in case it destroys his confidence but at the end of the day, we want PL football next season and sadly BPF is a few years away from being good enough for that so if we get there we’ll need a new keeper anyway.

We were poor today, but one shambles of a performance doesn't make us a bad side. We started the day top of the table for a good reason because we are one of the better teams in the championship. Just a bad day at the office imo !

    Positives

We tried to play football, unfortunately nothing came off for us

    Negatives

Lack of urgency when on the ball.
Rather than shoot at any given opportunity we try to walk the ball into the net.
    Poor crosses.
Baggies beat us for pace on the break.
Stretched all over the park particularly in the 2nd half.
    Midfield overrun
Too many errors in crucial areas.
When we did create space for a shot, poor technique as we shot into the side netting as oppose to across the keeper twice !
    BPF is becoming a liability.
    Dallas is not a defender.
Rarely looked like scoring, apart from Pablo's header at the death no credible effort on target.
Baggies looked like scoring every time they ventured forward.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Sometimes we have to put our hands up and say we were totally out muscled and beaten by a better team .This is why this lkeague is so good anyone can beat anyone Millwall were seconds away from winning at Norwich but conceded 2 late goals So lets forget this now and concentrate on the next few games

I liked Alioski earlier in the season for his effort and willingness to help the team out.but i know can see he does not have the pace we need to contribute in attack.so as a winger he is useless to us.i would put douglas at right back and Aliflopski left back.i would play Saiz and forshaw with only one recognised winger because only clark looks to have it in him.and of course i would buy another goalie in january its no secret i dont rate bpf for his agility more than anything .tactics are so easily sussed now and without some added quality on the bench cant see us getting top two.
Dont fancy this side to handle a heavy winters pitch.

First paragraph sums things up nicely. Middle of November and three points off the top, we move on.

    Crazy league this is

    Derby 1-4 Leeds
    WBA 1-4 Derby
    WBA 4-1 Leeds

Freak results every week and yesterday was our turn, just wish it wasn’t just before the boring international break which rules out an immediate bounce back <doh>

We were poor but I don’t want to see three players out of position in an attempt to solve RB and Dallas. Alioski is decent at LB but not as good as Douglas and playing Douglas at RB is a no no for me. Only playing with one winger would leave us unbalanced and exposed on that side which your suggesting would be Alioski in at LB

Sky were saying Hernandez and Saiz are both not as effective when in the team on their own, play both together and the opposition don’t know who to pick up.

For me, it’s go back to the early games, Alioski, Saiz, Hernandez and whilst Forshaw has done great it’s 2 from Phillips, Klich, Forshaw for me. We need to replace Dallas now though.

I'd like to see Shackleton given a few games at RB, think he's done well when he's played there

Trouble is a little voice in my head keeps telling me I'm not an internationally renowned coach who sees them every day in training so stfu Forza

Moore won the battle of the coaches yesterday, they sat back let us come on to them, with a better squad of players all on their game, it was the perfect plan As in the last 6 weks, we gave the ball away cheaply in the final third, playing into their hands, Alio and Dallas especially in the first half being in good wide positions only for neither of them to beat the first defender with a pass/cross, West Brom break quickly but we continued with the same tactic, with the same players. So what does Bielsa do, takes off Douglas who was at least trying, and brings on Harrison, baffling, what does Clarke need to do to get a chance over Harrison or Alioski who isn't chasing back as much now either, at least at one time he gave defensive cover. The right back position is a big worry, games will be coming thick and fast after the break and there's a lot of games to cope with, with someone there who just looks like a fish out of water. Bielsa really needs a rethink as the next 2 games are the more winnable ones until the new year and 6 points is a must from them.

The only thing that wound me up was Douglas reaction to being subbed. Yes he did nothing wrong to be subbed, but it was a tactical decision. Team game.<ok>

Not sure if he was angry at himself as it wasn't his best game or bewildered as others were left on who were much worse, a couple of times in the first half, if looks could kill, Alio would be dead, you could see his frustration. Tbh, i don't mind players reacting that way, at least they show they care.

Too angry to talk bollox last night and woke up today hoping it was a bad dream :emoticon-0130-devil

    • Blackman must deserve a start now
    • Dallas isnt a RB
    • Pablo wasnt even at the races yesterday, if he doesn't do his stuff do the team fold?
    • Klich on International duty so Forshaw, Saiz, Hernandez & Phillips need coaching together next week against the U23s
    • Pontus is on International duty so use Halme with Cooper, because at some stage Cooper needs dropping
    • Baker & Harrison to play for the U23s against the first team Wednesday to see if they deserve first team football
      • Or does Bielsa look at wholesale changes now and use our loan players in the first team because to be frank so far we are getting no benefit from having them
    • Bielsa has a match planned for Wednesday and probably one more next week where the first team will play the U23s. There will be no BPF or Dallas, Pontus or Klich so ideal time to re-engineer the first team to ensure we dont get steamrollered again against anyone. Either the loan players are good enough or they aren't. Time for Clarke, Stevens, Dalby and Edmondson to step up

 of course there are always exceptions.

After the Spurs game he played his last game in the reserves against Brum at non league Hednesford, went through the motions as you'd expect. As the players came off, my mate asked him , why he had turned into such a cock, he just smiled and walked off.
