Simon Hooper has to be instantly removed from the list of Premier League referees. What is it about bald referees? Mason, East and now Hooper. All ****ing ****. Only Anthony Taylor is Premier League standard. Hooper made Mason and East look good for ****s sake. It wasn't even just the 2 big decisions he got wrong that made him ****. He had no control whatsoever. He let so much go and there was a couple of flare ups as well. Woeful officiating. Yet Austin (and probably Hughes when he has his say) will get charged for saying it as it is.
Thoroughly enjoyed the match today, there was great passion and commitment from both teams but the tricky conditions meant that there were a few mistakes also (which probably added to the excitement). I said I wasn't going to sweat it over the result, but it was frustrating again to not being able to see the game out again and i'm not sure why our second goal was ruled out. Gabbi, Mario, Redders and Maya were good and Alex made some good saves early on. I think that we got unlucky with both sides early subs as we missed Danny and Deeney is always a threat. I was much happier with the attitude of the whole team and it looked like they were still playing for the manager.
Why do we always get **** refs? Haven’t seen any of the game yet, and I probably never will; but I’m going with the “**** ref” theory anyway. Bollocks.

Except he's completely wrong and has just ranted making himself look a right **** and the club a bitter bunch. Fed up of excuses as to why we don't win, it's because we're not ****ing good enough, no other reason!
A decent result on the back of a 6-1 defeat. A crap result in the context of our home form/ position in the league. Ooooh to be a saints fan.
