I called that as a pen, but it was cancelled out by the disallowed goal.

Should have won that even without the referee. Ref made 2 horrendous calls, one against each team so can't really bitch about the disallowed goal too much. We probably would have lost if the pen had been given and Bertrand been sent off.

Pen came first so if that had been given and Bertrand been sent off (which he should have been) then the disallowed goal wouldn't have happened at all. The disallowed goal was a shambolic bit of refereeing don't get me wrong but Watford have every right to feel just as aggrieved.

 

Really? He has been our best player in our last two home games in my opinion?

 

Nah, Cardiff one goal worse than us.

 

If they'd got their "world's most obvious penalty" I suspect we'd have capitulated and lost that, so really not too concerned by the disallowed goal. The point is a fair one.

Hughes needs to go. I was all for giving him a chance at the end season because he got the players up for it at the end of last season but he's failed to do it this season.

 

The slide out if the EPL is steepening, the Board needs to take the next obvious action and remove Hughes; it just isn't working with him and its not going to get any better.

 

Problem is that sacking Hughes will not resolve our lack of mobility and firepower upfront.
