Yeah. I drank there in the 80's as a few mates lived in Burgoyne Rd, literally a stones' throw from Selhurst Park. Then I didn't go near nor by the place for nearly 20 years, when the pub opposite my house closed for the last time...next thing I'm back in South Norwood. I don't recommend it.
Team news announced soon, but Stan collymore seems to think that Winks and Eriksen are on the bench, and Wanyama is starting. I guess we’ll find out shortly...
A few years ago a bunch of pikeys turned up in the beautiful sussex village of Firle, set up pitch on the cricket pitch and totally trashed the place leaving all of their rubbish in their wake. To highlight the issue, Firle bonfire society made an effigy of a caravan, painted a few pikey kids looking out of the rear window, added the number plate P1KEY, filled it with fireworks, blew it sh!tless then burnt it. The press had a hay-day, political correctness and all of that sh!te. Should have had real pikeys in it if you ask me.
Phil Thompson says Foyth shouldn't start, but Foyth starts Matthew Upson says Alli isn't in form (because he's been f'n injured) so you know what to do Dele!
No Dave, great! On the bright side, no Zaha for Palace. Been really impressed with Wan-Bissaka, think it was actually us he made his debut against last season. Here's hoping Lucas and Lamela continue their destructive run and Big Mouss powers through their midfield.
That defence again Thank **** that Zaha's out. Palace are a bunch of dirty ****ers, so a Wanyama/Sissoko pivot it is. Not taking any chances with Christian Eriksen/Harry Winks getting kicked black and blue. Maybe bring on a pitbull or honey badger in the second half?
No Zaha should be good, but I am sure Ayew has a much better scoring record against us than Zaha has! I hope that Big Vic has a big game in him today would be good to see him show us that he is not finished. Foyth is a big call but typical Poch in many ways backing his young player, just a shame that Gazza is not given the same.
Sissoko and Vic vs Kouyate and Milivojevic could cause a mass earthquake if **** gets nasty, that's four big blokes in the centre of the park.
Yeah I really hope Vic can rediscover his debut season's form as well, was an absolute monster that year. Though if Sissoko can maintain his form so far, I'm more than happy seeing him in the XI for the time being. Spurs have just said Dave has a hamstring injury. Minus the penalties (one which wasn't even his fault), I've been impressed with Foyth in the past couple of games so here's hoping this little run in the side can see him develop and improve.
I've been doing this for years and have mentioned it here before. I am so unlucky with my bets and investments. I also always bet that the gooners will win.
