I'm still hopeful that something pathetic like 28 points will be enough to keep a side up this season. (Whether or not that would be us...)
Every time one gets despondent about how we play I watch the four teams below us and realise that there are worse.
The thing I worry about (apart from whether I can get my hair to look nice or is the milk ok to drink) is that even the worse sides can eventually and amazingly win a game....I have no confidence that we will.
You had to bring our defence into it, didn't you Those poor buggers, their confidence must be shattered. Ming you, wasn't it Felix Mcgrath at Fulham that was trying to strap a slab of cheese to someones knee which was injured - I bet that made him speed up his recovery running away from the fecking lunatic
The mini Skates are currently the club that are in the position to possibly threaten the top 6 cartel and therefore their best players are being targeted. The Chavs are sniffing around Callum Wilson apparently and it will be interesting to see how a relatively small club deals with the unwanted attention. Eddie Howe is saying that nobody will be sold but they will have to deal with all the tricks from the player's agents greedy for a pay day.
They're welcome to enjoy their moment in the sun. But it won't last, such is the circle of life in the PL. We're current proof of that; well us and almost every other side outside the big six. (Only really Everton under Moyes managed to establish themselves as a consistent top 8 side over a sustained period in the past 20 years.) Bmouth's problem, and it's a huge one, is that they're risking having nothing to show for it. Eddie seems to care little for the cups (which also has the knock-on consequence of limiting the options for European stadium), and they continue to have a tiny stadium. Before they get relegated in two, or five, or eight years time, they will need to have changed that.
I see Bournemouth as a good team, that work well together and are well managed. Not sure they have players that stand out so much as to be wanted by the top clubs. I guess we'll find out.
Brighton win the obvious answer. Just need Cardiff/Hudders/Fulham/Newcastle/Burnley to lose every time they play and we survive
