  1. Not the greatest striker, but never nice to see these kinds of injuries.

Jose getting in on the Metths act it seems.

Manager Jose Mourinho says Manchester United will lose matches if his team do not "grow up" and "start matches well".

They are one of only a few clubs in the top seven tiers of English football to hand out free season tickets, they have a midfielder who has played against Luka Modric, and five years ago they attracted a crowd of just 17 (seventeen) to a league match.

On Friday, Haringey Borough will host a club record crowd of around 2,500 as the non-league team look to spring an FA Cup first-round shock by knocking out AFC Wimbledon, who play four leagues above them, in a match to be shown live on BBC Two.

Located on White Hart Lane, just over a mile from where Tottenham's booming 62,000-seater stadium is taking shape, Borough's Coles Park ground has a main stand with 270 seats.

    Once, years ago.

Played against them a number of times though in youth football. My old club also held our halloween parties at their clubhouse a few times, think we done a Christmas one too. Good club though, wish them all the best, hope they can pull off the upset.

Raheem Sterling has signed a three-year contract extension at Manchester City, committing him to the club until 2023 in a deal worth up to £300,000 a week.

The 23-year-old England forward's previous deal at Etihad Stadium was due to expire at the end of next season.

It is understood the new contract will make Sterling one of the best-paid English players in the Premier League.

One thing I hate about this FA Cup coverage is the ****s walking in and out of the dressing rooms etc, if I was the manager of one of the clubs I'd be telling them to **** right off.

  13. Alas! That was a long time ago, when I were a small lad, kicking my football against the back wall, and imagining that I was Martin Chivers, and listening for the roar of the WHL faithful.

I don't think it will be an easy victory for £ity or anything close. Fancy United to get something out of it.

United are becoming a robust team of late.

Yeah I fancy them to get something too, if they turn up in the first half anyway. It won't be by going toe to toe though.

... and now you are a 'big' lad, strumming your axe, wobbling a bit like a Chivers jelly and listening out for the sporadic clapping of the old folks that haven't yet dozed off ... whilst taking care not to slip on any dentures that might have been spat out in their 'excitement' ... you've still got it, Quents <cheers>
