Yup, but it also exposed a flaw in the site that is now closed <laugh>

So if someone starts it all off again like before with all the kiddy and personal stuff....and they get banned, i now approve all new accounts in the gateway. So just hope they have plenty of old socks in reserve <ok>

On that - our relegation to it (the first time we had been outside the top 2 divisions) felt, at the time, like being on a downward spiral towards oblivion as a club ...we had little idea of where it might stop .... but like a lot of things in life, it ain't half as bad as you think it might be - and there is life and enjoyment after it. Personally I loved League 1 - but I have to admit to loving where we are now more - not the greedier aspects of the Prem, I hasten to add - but the chance to watch real talent wearing our shirt and playing some outstanding football ... Demarai Gray, Maddison and Chilwell now - Mahrez and Kante, previously ...

There was something really satisfying to the long ball being flicked on by Howard to Fryatt though! That Stevie Howard bullet against Leeds in the run in, great memories

We were the first to get relegated to League 1 then perform a double promotion to the Prem.
Southampton then did it and so did Leicester .
The expression was coined doing a Norwich .

Wrong again, you really seem fixated with my CV not sure why but I'll explain.

When East European workers were entitled to work in the UK big greedy business owners set up recruitment drives in the old Soviet countries to cherry pick cheap migrant Labour.

They call it restructuring, as I had done almost 10 years service I was offered a large redundancy package and they significantly reduced the wage bill.

After a few months off I went on to a different club and moved a further three times until I decided to leave casinos altogether and tread a different path career wise.

Which wasn't washing cars in Dubai.

    Getting sacked is completely different.

On another note I have never heard of the word thraipsed the closest would be
    traipse
    /treɪps/
    verb
past tense: traipsed; past participle: traipsed
    1. walk or move wearily or reluctantly.
"students had to traipse all over London to attend lectures"
      synonyms: trudge, trek, tramp, trail, hike, plod, shuffle, slouch, drag oneself, drag one's feet, clump, slog, wade, footslog;
      traik
"I haven't the time to go traipsing around art galleries"

Which still doesn't make sense and perhaps you meant to write trounced ?

So making jokes about illiterate foreigners taking our jobs by you an unemployed illiterate foreigner is rather ironic.

We didn’t do back to back promotions so that is incorrect and we went down to league 1 before both and came up as you went down. We then reached the play offs in our first season (very respectable at the time) then you and then Southampton did the actual double. But we set the trend for the using the momentum from promotion thank you <whistle> shout out to Wolves who I think coined the back to back relegations going in the other direction

Norwich were relegated in 18th from the Championship 2008/2009 then won Lg1 and finished 2nd in the Championship.
With a respectable 12th place in the Prem followed by 11th .

It took Leicester 3 seasons to get put of Lg1 and 5 to go to the Prem .

We had one season in league one, do you do your research before posting? You are right with the 5, we had 4 seasons in the championship following the 1 in league one. Besides, I was just correcting your last post that was wrong about us getting back to back and that we went down before Norwich so even if we had done back to back promotions it’d have been before Norwich! Glad to be of service :emoticon-0148-yes:

Oh and you can’t get relegated in 18th

    I should have Googled it
I think most neutral fans were glad Leicester won the League even if it was with external millions from overseas investors that would have bought pretty much any English team in the hope of generating the Prem money .

I'll ignore the childish swipes you had at me as you were just trying to fit in with Fosse.

Unfortunately on this tiny section of the internet Fosses gloating cringe worthy posting style and terrible jokes as well as being quite spiteful has made me hope Leicester as a club crash and burn .
Most Leicester fans I have met seem quite a nice bunch .

I remember Leicester going down to league one, they lost at Stoke while we beat Sheffield United to stay up on the final day.

Obviously went down the next season too.
