One away win against us in 11 years ( that's eleven ) must have them thinking all their Christmases have come at once. For a side that has never won the EPL what can one expect? You're right Mr Wright, we should be charitable.

I'm no Liverpool fan but do you really want to get in a debate with them about how many times we and they have been champions ?

Santos > Enrique - Santos is Brazil's number one left back. Enrique is Spain's 4th choice left back.
Wilshere >>> Adam - Wilshere is a regular starter for England, Adam is a championship player
Arteta >> Gerrard - Arteta is a quality replacement for Fabregas, Gerrard is past it.
Song >>> Lucas - Song is miles more technically gifted than Lucas who would struggle in non-league football.
Walcott >>> Kuyt - Walcott tears teams apart at his best, Kuyt does next to nothing.
Gervinho >>> Downing - Gervinho tears teams apart when at his best, Downing is England's 5th choice winger.
RVP >>> Suarez - RVP can score 20 a season. Suarez cannot.

 

Liverpool suck. They think they are amazing but their squad is still very average. Their fans are deluded.

Anyway, I think we underestimate our squad this year. We needed a high turnover of our squad to get rid of alot of the players who were mentally scared by previous failures (espicially fabregas).

So all in all, we will probably do better than last year.

 

This is clearly fact.

 

Considering your signature is in the main, about the distant past I'd say your team is definitely past it.
