Proving that good players can have the life sucked out of them in poor teams with poor players. He’s really shining with good players around him, much like he did with Pelle et al. Tbh, he should have left us sooner but glad he’s getting the chance to show how good he is on the biggest stage.
Hang on a minute, let's remember that Tadic is playing in the DUTCH league. Most of the teams are worse than Cardiff. It's hardly surprising he's banging them in.
Or another way of looking at it is that the Dutch league in general is a poor standard. Dusan never had the life sucked out of him at Saints, how over dramatic is that
I watched Dusan play for Saints with good players around him in a successful team. I watched him play for Saints with poor players around him in a struggling team. He looked a shadow of himself in his last two seasons at Saints, with only the odd flash of his former self. That's what I mean by sucked the life out of him. Yes the Dutch league has poor teams in it, but so does the PL. It's much easier to be creative when there is a lot of movement and attacking intent around you and with that again now Dusan is looking a far better player than he did in most of his final couple of years with us.
If you take “Dusan” out if this and replace it with the name of any talented player, it would still apply. Example no.1 would be Messi for Argentina Le Tiss (not me) about the only exception to that rule.
Absolutely! If you took last seasons Salah and stuck him in our team he would have struggled to make it to 10 goals let alone 30+ or whatever he ended up with. I was just saying that it's nice to see Dusan playing well again and showing what he can do. He couldn't really do that for his last 2 seasons with us. Love Dusan.
Exactly how I was going to reply That EA job I’m recruiting for is still up for grabs if you got all the right lumps in all the right places
That’s not really what you said the mate. You literally said the good players get the life sucked out of them. Maybe that’s the difference between good and great players.
