    No it's not Si.

You had a good attempt at trying to guess details about my life based on creepy Stan and Jihad Fans stalking and general making things up but unfortunately you failed miserably.

The only thing you got right was that I worked as a croupier over a decade ago .

    So let's do you now.

Late 50s with a ****ed heart.
Wife left you for someone less boring, financially crippling you .
You met a woman much younger than your ex that is just waiting for you to die .
You work on a short term contract and worry that at your age this will be your last job.
Both of your parents are dead and your kids think you are a failure.
You don't go to games or live in Leicester.
You are so desperate to be accepted you have taken to rimming creepy unemployed fantasists on a football forum .
You have The social skills and demeanour of a 10 year old child .
Your whole life has been one massive failure after another and nobody likes you .

If it brightens your dreary life to believe my name is Si and I wash cars for a living and take money from my family then you crack on mate .

If my life was anywhere near as pathetic as yours I would have topped myself years ago .

    Almost forgot <laugh>

I wasn’t sure if the poor cnut was a mackerel but does now explain his bitterness Fosse.... It’s a shame they’re such a **** side and in free fall to the conference, was a guaranteed 6 points for us in any given season.... still our loss is Halifax’s gain and bumper crowds for Darlington and Hartlepool can be expected :1980_boogie_down:

I like League One. As for Sunderland and Coventry i have a lot of respect for both sets of supporters, not everything is about glory or money.

Try a cold winters day in Northampton, playing a lowly club such as GFC, meeting the Coventry supporters on top of the hill overlooking the stadium. This might not make much sense, depends if you know the story behind it, from a supporters perspective. I've never forgotten that day and their loyal support in the lower leagues, not frightened to raise a voice and stand up for what they believe in.

As for Sunderland, not seen any club ever match their home attendances and away support in L1 - and i've seen the likes of Leeds, Norwich, Wolves, Southampton, I could go on but i can see i'm boring you now ;)

So this thread has gone a little off topic.
Thread title is about the death of Leicesters chairman, and I come in to see Fosse and Dunc taking chunks out of each other <laugh>

It seemed a little strange, someone supporting a club like Leicester mocking Sunderlands support.

I found it strange to bring it in the context it appeared to be written. Hence why i responded. I've supported a lower league club all my life and found it odd to raise the names of the two teams mentioned ie Coventry and Sunderland. I could go on and give many other stories, where should we start with him Leyton Orient (a kick away from the Championship now non league) as another example or maybe even Ebbsfleet (Paramount)?

Leicester got lucky, they did find a backer that managed to find them fame and fortune, but never ever forget where you came from. But for me personally, you can stuff the Premiership.

But we're heading to oblivion by all accounts. Guess we'll have the biggest ever crowds in the conference then.

I actually always looked forward to going down to the National League <laugh> be plenty of local games, Dover, Bromley, Ebbsfleet, Maidstone, Leyton Orient, Barnet some further afield clubs i've been to down there too, proper old style away days, a good pint and a shhite ground. Very tough league to get of though.

But even in the conference, we'll probably get bigger crowds than some prem clubs<whistle>

You would. Some of those clubs in the National League are getting 5k+ attendances, my club struggles that on a good day <laugh>

Although the current make up of the National League would be pretty shhite for your lot, would be a lot of long distant travelling for away games.

Comm is a sound lad tbf Mick and I have a lot of time for him - he is not entirely on the wum with his remarks and it's not a bad thing to respond to points he makes which reflect things that others might also be thinking about too - he is prone to the odd rush of blood, but who on here isn't?

Simon the doughnut boy is a different kind of animal altogether - he would have made this thread in a state of excitement if not arousal as he is a bit of xenophobe and barely disguised racist - as is evident from his posts on here and on the Politics thread. He used to be Super Norwich 23 (something of an oxymoron on several levels) and used to hang about with the GC lads thinking he was as 'edgy' as them - in reality he was something of a figure of ridicule and fun on there and once he worked that out (took him quite a while as you might imagine) he upped his car wash business and brought it to the Prem board.

He's found some kindred spirits on the Politics thread among the more extreme right wing types, Pete the Salad Dodger and Dog's Widget (now Maggie) but continues to be desperate for any attention or recognition and when his more unpleasant tendencies ooze through (which is quite often) he then likes to claim he is just being 'edgy' - he constantly gets his arse handed to him on the Politics thread by tangibly more intelligent posters, Stan, Tobes, NSIS (and too many others to mention) - until he flees for his 'safe place' which is reporting 'golden rule' breaks to brb when the arse handing inevitably happens ... <laugh>
