Were only struggling away from home. 2 defeats away, 2 wins at home with lots of goals. Yeah the psg could have gone either way but we look good going forward etc which is what the original complaint was. Not saying its it’s going to be easy but we all know under lights at Anfield lfc generally get the job done when needed.
I think you will find we do much better when things are not expected of us. We have on many occasions shone when very little was expected but failed when we had high expectations (e.g against a weaker/smaller team). The good thing is that there is low expectation of us at PSG. This may mean us beating them and qualifying instantly with a match to go. If we do get beat by PSG, we may need to beat a decent Italian team by 2 clear goals.
The main problem I see is this season we don't seem to have any identity. You could see a style in previous seasons with quick attacking play due to pressing system. This season we look like a slightly better United as in pass it around mainly backwards and sideways and hope one of the front 3 score.
The original point I made was I’d back us to win by 2 goals at home to Napoli. So taking away form into it means nothing.
Dortmund and Olympiakos spring to mind where we’ve needed to get a result and have done it on European nights. I havent checked but but our record at Anfield in Europe is probably amongst the best in last however many years. I don’t think we’ve ever gone into a home game at Anfield and not expected to win so think that makes your first point void.

yeah.... Theres always someone trotted out for these interviews and they have a standard crap line. I had my fill of it in the "bad times" constantly the same bull they look even worse the next game as some people then expect a 6-0 thrashing but the opposition are not there just to roll over.
Just as well your opinion is wrong then. Beat PSG and we're through. Beat Napoli by two goals and we're through. Beat both and top the group. #inourhands
