No not 10 year olds.. im saying that i honestly thought the majority of people were closer to my age of 18 then they actually are, with the way the seem to think swearing is such a big deal. On the site in general.

It could be argued that you think it's a big deal as it is you who is taking issue with it when it really shouldn't be one. My comment that included swearing was clearly a tongue in cheek reply to an earlier post so untwist those knickers! I even quoted the comment to make it obvious as to what I was doing!!!

the ones that use wearing as a big deal are probably alot younger.
Generally, swearing is generally used for some people, myself included so just normal chatter, nothing special

Who said i was refering to you? so why are you bringing up your comment,
The fact that men in their mid 20's- 30's still think swearing makes you hard, and dismiss anyone who doesn't see the value of swearing at someone as a "pussy" is actually funny, but it's typical of Britain today tbh.
Why say something with a swear word when you could say it more intelligently with other words?
I was at 6th form last yea,r and tbh even we had grown out the stage of thinking swearing at each other made you hard.

    Thats all im saying <ok>

My comment wouldn't have worked without using swear words but since you weren't talking to me, that's irrelevant anyway. I don't care if people swear. Let them get on with it.

    Agreed <ok>
But for example "Av you won the treble , Av you ****"
seems to think giving people abuse regarding their mums is funny.
I found it funny, back when i was 15

I dont have a problem with swearing, i swear more than i would like to , but i don't see how swearing should make you feel proud or bigger then someone who dislikes it.

I agree with merry and Mrwright. Did you know in some parts of London, especially North London, swearing is a sign of intelligence.

To be honest, I'd be very surprised if anyone on here swore because they thought it made tem look hard. Has your mum wrapped you in cotton wool all your life? Like I said lighten up and untwist your briefs.

Did you also know, that the sky isn't infact blue, it's just a reflection from the water on the earth? Do you reckon if we get enough people to hold up footballs, the sky will turn into black and white hexagons?

Swearing, a sign of intelligence??? haha where, in the hood??

Did you not read where i said i, myself, swear.
Its not like you would walk down the street and start swearing at people, so why do people do it online??
Because you can be as tough as you wanna be online, no one can see you.

He may have tourettes and have no choice but to walk down the street and start swearing at people.

Don't start me on tourettes. Just sheer badness. They never shout "flowers" or "rainbows." Pure filth!

Calm down. I'm taking the piss.

And like I said, I don't think anyone on here swears because they think it makes them look tough or hard. A lot of people on here are at work, and have to put up with crap from their bosses and colleagues all day, and maybe they vent their frustration that way? Not like you can tell you boss to shove his dick in a bread slicer, is it? Who knows though.

You come across as very new to the internet forum scene.

As for tourettes, however you spell it, maybe if sufferers of it were taught from a young age that words such as "hello" "nice to meet you" "im jordan" blah blah were terribly bad words, they'd shout them out in the middle of tescos instead of "shove that cucumber up your ass"

Wouldn't be as amusing though. Anyone who saw "Teenage Tourettes Camp" a few years back and treated it as a serious documentary, as opposed to an absolute riot, has serious problems.

But why do they shout bad words, I'd like to see someone with tourettes walk around shouting "I LIKE CHEESE" "FLOPPY DOPPY DOOOOOO" "EXCUSE ME SIR WHAT TIME IS IT AND WHERE IS THE BREAD"

    lol <ok>
tbh no im not new to the internet scene, but i enjoy football, and i find it annoying when people turn every discussion into an argument.

For example, the Newcastle and Sunderland fanbases on here are the highest in sheer numbers, yet they seem to get more football talk done, whilst having banter and all that.
    It can be done.
We all want to have freedom of speech, but now, we have it we shouldn't abuse it.
Sorry to keep refering to him but, "Av you won the treble..." spends most of his time abusing people on here, fair enough hes playing around.
But people defend him with "If you don't like swearing there's a filter at the bottom, so grow a pair"
Just because there a stars there doesn't make the comment any less insulting, or make it more to do with football.

why should a thread that started off with intelligent views and discussion be lost under his rubbish?

Im not intending to offend anyone btw <ok>
