Wigan, above us in the league, sold for £22million. Whether this includes the 25,000 capacity ground or not - don't tell Duffers FFS!
The club, the stadium and the training facilities . Also worth noting that the deal was agreed in principal in February and has taken 9 months to complete.
Just heard there’s a 0.3% chance of a deal being completed in 24 hours. The only formal paperwork passed between either party are some of Ehabs drawings.
There could be a chance that our value also relates to the next parachute payment from the Premier League. Considering Wigan's debts and the future potential I can see why we hold more value. Wigan may be on the rise again but city if run in the right way will offer more in terms of an opportunity. I don't think we have ever capitalised on our potential fan base because of the Allam management. On the field we had never been more successful but there is no legacy. I would go so far as to say there was more of a legacy to pass on when the Allams took control than they are offering to potential buyers now. The good will of the supporters has been destroyed and we are rapidly losing the next generation of supporters. Its like the late 30/40 somethings who all went to support Leeds while Fish and Dolan led us to the fringes of non-league. The rot has to stop soon! #allamout
Has anyone heard anything else about the take over? Do we think we will have new owner for the Forest game?
No, and don't know. Don't worry, if ever there is news it'll be all over this board within milliseconds.
