    The standard in The Championship, and even League One, is often surprisingly good anyway.

    Yeah true. Went to Plymouth v Sunderland on Saturday. Decent game and more honest than the Prem.

    top 4 aside, the standard in the Championship is not that far from La Liga, or the Portugese and Dutch leagues

    A lot of the teams will have bragging rights if they get accepted into the ESL, but those bragging rights will disappear when they are bottom 3 every year, as will the money generated by being 'successful'. The Americans, Chinese etc arent going to be rushing out to buy the shirts and merchandise of perennial failures, and sooner or later it'll still end up being the same, 2 or 3 teams always at the top, the rest struggling

    I would legit stop supporting Chelsea if they did that to be honest.
