    I only watch movies that were made in the 80s and 90s.

    There are a couple of exceptions but I won’t bore you with them.

    No I wouldn´t and haven´t heard anybody using that expression. Maybe it is linked to "it is a bit nippy" meaning cold as if you were in the nude you would also be cold, depending on the weather?
