oh yeah been trying to think of it for hours lol loved the place was there mostly on a wednesday night, cracking night out with a whole bunch of mates, that was the time when pubs closed at 10.30, used to go down the sandfields and then into town and land up there or sloanes and sometimes into time.

Oh and used to get into everywhere for free because where I worked

I was born and bred in the Sandfields and lived there for 28 years...so i had a good pub crawl before town and then it was another crawl around town...Griffin bar Hanbury Prince of Wales (Flares) and upstairs in The Park for a band and the Cardiff arms and as i'm more &0's than 80's i was usually out giging if not out on the lash

That place was called Subterranea recently but I think it's changed again now. Sin City was Casablanca for a bit too inbetween!

I-ve heard good things about the Cardiff Arms re:music, shame it was a bit before my time! Sadly live music these days is either quality local bands who have no help from landlords, or **** covers bands. The landlords prefer the covers bands because it means they're playing safe... it's sad because I know of 7 or 8 top quality bands from the local area, who essentially just do it for the love of it. Respect to them.

I'm generally too chilled out to be corrupt! Anything more from that "Papa Shango" twat is getting deleted straight away though.

It sounds like you cannot wait for him to pop up, just so you can hit that button.
Enjoy the moment when he does show!

I hope that doesn't mean the end of your quality match threads buddy. Some Gooner needs to be shown exactly how it's done - a poor attempt has already popped up on the board.

I've already started typing it up, in fairness his is just a general banter thread I think, whereas I like to preview the game a bit more in-depth.
